Couples and Individual Therapist
Meet Kiri.Kiri is a thoughtful and highly-attuned therapist who brings depth, steadiness, and cultural sensitivity to her work. She has a natural ability to notice emotional patterns unfolding in the room, dynamics that previously felt confusing or overwhelming. Clients often describe feeling seen, safe, and deeply understood and emotionally safe in her presence. Kiri works primarily with couples and is accepting of every partnership style. She is particularly skilled in helping couples heal from relational ruptures, including betrayals and breaches of trust. With care and structure, she helps partners process the trauma of betrayal, rebuild emotional safety, and determine what repair and accountability look like moving forward. She approaches these conversations with groundedness, creating space for both hurt and responsibility. As a first-generation immigrant herself, Kiri brings lived insight into the complexities of cultural transitions, family loyalty, and belonging. She works from a systemic and attachment-informed lens, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based tools and techniques to help partners slow down emotionally reactive cycles, access underlying vulnerability, and reconnect in more secure ways. She works with many Asian and intercultural partnerships, navigating differences in communication, identity, and intergenerational expectations. In her individual work, Kiri is frequently sought out by women and mothers carrying the weight of invisible emotional labor or struggling to balance competing roles. She provides a grounded, shame-free reflective space where clients can process anxiety, depression, trauma, and family estrangement. Kiri also works effectively with young adults navigating identity, direction, and relational uncertainty. Colleagues value Kiri for her emotional intelligence, nuanced cultural understanding and collaborative spirit. She approaches her work with intention and care, continually deepening her clinical skillset to strengthen her couples and trauma work. Her goal is to create a culturally responsive, compassionate environment where clients feel empowered to heal from relational wounds and build secure, meaningful connections.
